THE HERO: the first carbon-neutral MTB race in the world
What does that mean?
We were responsible for 91,000 kg of CO2 in 2022. We offset these emissions by planting 91 forest trees.
The HERO adheres to the United Nations’ seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We also follow the green guidelines drafted by the UCI.
We’re also green energy users, as we use 100% renewable energy.
Each and every one of us can (and should!) contribute to protecting the environment: our HEROes have joined us on this journey towards a greener and brighter future.
